Ulysses seeks to enhance scientific knowledge about how oceans and ocean drifts work, to raise awareness about, respect for and co-responsibility regarding the marine environment and to boost the commitment to its conservation through positive impact actions.

One of the goals set by Ulysses is to boost the integrated development of its participants, stressing diversity and equal opportunities by facilitating spaces for creation and technological innovation to harness collective intelligence and attracting students to scientific professions by means of collaborating with schools and bringing research into the classroom.

This project seeks to contribute to enhancing the quality of life and welfare of both the people and economic agents taking part in it, as well as society as a whole. It aims to do so by promoting technological progress in R&D&I, driving the circular economy and attracting young people to scientific professions.
