goals
Ulysses Data for Science is a scientific marine sustainability project to improve Basque coastal and ocean health by generating greater knowledge of river and marine environments and encouraging greater awareness about them. It is a scientific project that tackles the problem of marine and river litter by collecting the data required to establish a global strategy to eliminate its presence in the sea and to prevent it from getting there.
However, Ulysses is not only a scientific and technological project, it also covers other aspects that are needed to achieve its end goal such as marine literacy and education, social outreach and action to raise environmental awareness and promoting the circular economy in all business sectors and among the general public.
A scientific, educational, social and cultural project to preserve the Bay of Biscay
